The Bunker is our basement bar, with six draft lines of craft beer, a fridge fully stocked with even more beer, alongside cider, alcohol free options and some lovely wine from a local Essex vineyard.

It's open to the public seasonally on weekend evenings, and also for our own special events.

The Bunker is also available for private hire:

• FREE to hire. 

• Minimum spend required: £200 Sunday-Thursday, £400 Friday/Saturday.

• Deposit required: £50 (£100 in December). 

• Capacity: full hire - minimum 12, maximum 30 people. Groups of fewer than 12 - we can reserve space, but the rest of the venue will be open to the public.

• Availability: 12pm until 10.30pm.

• Music: Bluetooth speaker available, you can use our playlists or bring your own (please download, no WiFi is available for streaming).

• Food: we don't have a kitchen at West Road Tap, but feel free to bring your own buffet, or arrange deliveries or your own caterers.
